Round Proofing Basket

A round proofing basket in natural rattan, handwoven by artisans in Indonesia, that supports dough as it rises and shapes it for baking.

Dust the rattan or the removable cloth liner with flour before adding dough. For wet doughs such as no-knead recipes, use the liner with a light coating of rice flour for easy release.

• Holds 1.5 to 2.5 lbs (680 to 1130 g) of dough, or 3 to 4.5 cups of flour
• 8.5" inside diameter x 3.5" interior height
• Natural rattan, handwoven in Indonesia

• Care: tap out excess flour over the sink; if needed, rinse with hot water, shake off moisture, and dry upside down over a warm oven. Do not use soap.
