Friday patches are a beloved tradition in military aviation — a lighter, humorous version of the official squadron insignia worn on the last working day of the week.

HMHT-302 operates the CH-53E Super Stallion as the Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) for the Marine Corps' heavy-lift helicopter community. Based at MCAS New River, North Carolina, the Phoenix squadron is where every CH-53 pilot and aircrew member earns their wings in type, learning to fly the largest and most powerful helicopter in the Western military inventory. The Friday patch tradition recognizes that after a long week of training flights, ground school, and simulator sessions, Marines have earned a little levity. The PVC construction ensures this Friday patch survives the hangar environment — oil, grease, and the occasional celebratory beverage.

This PVC Friday patch is HMHT-302 end-of-week tradition.

Perfect For: HMHT-302 Phoenix Marines, CH-53 FRS instructors and students, Friday morale patch enthusiasts, and Marine heavy-lift helicopter PVC patch collectors.

Friday Phoenix rising — HMHT-302.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0756/7687/7014/files/official-hmht-302-pvc-friday-patch_1.png?v=1793019594
